The all new SPECTRUM VGT/VNT CONTROLLER for 6.0L Powerstroke GXR Series turbocharger kit by Turbo Time Performance. The PATENTED design now allows you to manually control the VGT range operation of your turbo directly from your drivers seat.
WHAT IS IT?
The Spectrum VGT Controller is a patented hydraulic adjuster built with high grade material. CNC machined with built in gauge to monitor pressure resistance. Specifically designed and built to work with our drop-in GXR based (VGT) turbo series.
WHAT DOES IT DO?
This advanced turbine control system now allows you the ability to manually adjust the VGT vane nozzle position zone within your turbo - aiding in optimal peak performance capability. You may also think of it as customizing your a/r exhaust ratio in real time!
HOW DOES IT BENEFIT?
By presetting the nozzle arm capacity within the turbo VGT, you can increase nozzle pressure of exhaust flow energy on the turbine for quicker spool and peak boost performance capability. Faster response, more power, more efficiency. Especially beneficial for operation at elevation where turbocharger performance can suffer!
IS IT RELIABLE?
Made with high strength, corrosion resistant 7075 aluminum alloy commonly used for aerospace applications. CNC machined, high grade hydraulic line, and anodized finish. The Spectrum Controller has been in test operation with company vehicles for over 5 years and counting. The preset max operating range will not allow the user to position the VGT beyond an acceptable operating load, keeping your turbo and truck safe during operation.
HOW CAN I GET IT?
The Spectrum Controller is currently only available in kit form paired with TTP signature Predator GXR Series turbochargers. It will be pre-installed and ready to operate with the performance turbo!
